Quiz. Where on earth will you find 2,798 kilometers of coastline, one of the richest and most diverse cultures in the world and a Team5pm office desk with your name on it?
That’s right. We would like to facilitate remote work in our office in Cape Town for everyone working at the company. For those interested it’s good to know that;
- Cape Town office coffee is on us. All other costs are yours (tickets, accomodation, restaurants, etc).
- Please make sure you don't go too long, we think that a maximum of 1 month per year works.
- Please coordinate with your manager and keep the following bullet points in mind;
- Please don’t just jump on the first plane there, but talk to your manager first if it’s possible. And if yes, how you can organize it smoothly;
- As you can probably imagine, the timing of your remote working weeks are important. Think of productions, client meetings where you have to be physically present and/or team members who are also away in those weeks. So please coordinate it carefully with your manager and team members.
- Last but not least; Colleagues and customers do not find any disadvantage that you are working abroad.
- All set? We will connect you to Stephanie (MD South Africa). She’ll have loads of tips and will offer you a warm welcome.
What if I want to work abroad, but not specifically in Cape Town?
- Well, the same guidelines apply!
- Please take the time difference into account; it must be workable for you to cooperate with your colleagues and do your work properly.
- Make sure that the place where you work has the good basics like stable internet, a space for digital meetings and last but not least good coffee.
