In 2018, brands were struggling to reach their audiences in the changing media landscape. Four industry experts — Jelmer Wind, Tom Schoufs, Ronen Wolf, and Peter Minkjan — saw YouTube's potential through their experience at RTL, where they had built RTL MCN into the Netherlands' largest YouTube network. This led to the birth of 5PM, with one clear mission: making brands successful on YouTube.

Within our first year, we were recognized as true innovators, winning the prestigious SAN 'New Kids on the Block' award in 2019.

In 2020, we joined forces with Frank de Wit, who had been pioneering YouTube production at EndemolShine and launched successful channels like Wander, Legends of Gaming, and House of No Limits. This collaboration led to the creation of our production division and our evolution into Team5pm.

We defined our core values early on: we say what we think and do what we say, in good times and bad. We stay grounded, embrace imperfection, and value authenticity. We're true team players who make smart, data-driven decisions.

Today, we've grown into a full-fledged social agency operating from Amsterdam, Stockholm, Warsaw and Cape Town. With Lijm Amsterdam joining Team5pm in 2024, we've strengthened our creative capabilities even further. Our YouTube roots and entertainment background give us the perfect foundation to create content that truly connects — whether it's scroll-stopping TikTok videos, long-form YouTube storytelling, or fully integrated campaigns.
